Amir Fate 1

Fate affects Amir with this quote because Hassan's first words had been "Amir". When he said "Amir" as a child that had been foreshadowing how all the things that would happen later in the future would deal with Amir. It had began with Amir and would end with him all the same. Also, this shows just how closely their lives were connected to each other and what happened in the winter of 1975 was fate. If it had not been for that Amir would have never turned into the kind of man that he'd become in adulthood. He would still be trapped in his selfish ways and would have had a lifetime of regret for himself.
